                   Indrayarteśu viragya The deep desire that compels to act is raga  The absence of that compulsion is viragya   Managing desires on various sense objects Is indeed a task for this body mind complex Not to be done by denial and suppression  Understand the problem by observation Inquire the reason behind seeking pleasure Analyze the inadequacies at leisure   See things as they are with objectivity  Remove the distortion caused by subjectivity Every gain involves some kind of loss  All finite things put you in a toss Learn to observe things reflectively  All objects are not desired collectively Caffeinated pleasures are fleeting Letting go ends the lifelong meeting Understanding loosens the hold of raga  Analyzing puts a full stop to the samsara saga  See money as money, not a guarantee against insecurity See house as house, not a source of happiness  Know what is achie...

  Fear not for anything my friend! You are whole! You are not a man! You are not a woman! You are not the body! you are not the mind! You are whole! You are whole as you are! Fear not for anything my friend! without worry let us transcend! No need to dissociate from the world  Everything here is Brahman 'as though' curled 

9. Mastering the mind

Ātmavinigrahaḥ Mind is a colorful kaleidoscope  Fanciful thoughts play jump rope Never constant and rarely still  Mastering mind is a tactical skill It is subject to sudden starts and turns Many capricious notions always returns It is naturally playful and whimsical  It can be critical and analytical  One can even catch the wind   All I can say is oh mind, never mind!  Four kinds of thoughts are momentaneous  Impulsive, mechanical, deliberate and spontaneous These are the varieties that are distinctive Impulsive, are unexamined and instinctive  Mechanical, are from prior conditioning Deliberate, are after careful repositioning Spontaneity, is indeed the ultimate mystery After self knowledge, it is a complete mastery  Relative mastery is achieved by careful examination Accept and dismiss thoughts after deliberate mentation Examining all impulses is wise Discipline the thoughts as they arise Perform the actions with a choice Apply the mind...
