स्थूलो मांसमयो देहो सूक्ष्मः स्याद्वासनामयः ।
ज्ञानकर्मेन्द्रियैः सार्धंधीप्राणौ तच्छरीरगौ ॥१॥
अज्ञानंकारणंसाक्षी बोधस्तेषांविभासकः ।
बोधाभासो बुद्धिगतः कर्तास्यात्पुण्यपापयोः ॥२॥
स एव संसरेत्कर्मवशाल्लोकद्वयेसदा ।
बोधाभासाच्छुद्धबोधंविविच्यादतियत्नतः ॥३॥
Laghu vākya vritti is explained
Mahā vākya is well ascertained
It is a short composition by sage
Is unfolded systematically in stage
Gross body is made of flesh
Subtle body is made of impression mesh
Sense organs do not stay fresh
Thoughts of the mind move in thresh
Organs of action are five in number
Together they put one in slumber
Ignorance is the reason for causal body
Jiva is born with to embody
Theories are two to explain
Reflection and condition to gain
Pratibimba and Avacheda are blear
Unfolding by Acharya made them clear
One needs great effort to discriminate
Sravanam is the tool to make it straight
Carefully an inner space is created
Jiva can then walk around concentrated
