Laghu Vakya Vritt 7-8

रूपादौ गुणदोषादिविकल्पा बुद्धिगाः क्रियाः ।

ताः क्रिया विषयैः सार्धंभासयन्ती चितिर्मता ॥७॥

रूपाच्च गुणदोषाभ्यांविविक्ता के वला चितिः ।

सैवानुवर्ततेरूपरसादीनांविकल्पने॥८॥

World is a projection of Isvara

Thoughts are projections of Jiva

Qualities and defects are mere perceptions

Removal of them done in meditation

Names and forms are all round

They are here in the playground

Favorable and unfavorable toys

Learn to remain poised

Mind is very active and that is its nature

Senses are perceived without denature

'I' shine just as stage light in a play

Without which nothing can display

A plain crystal takes color of the object

Colors and characters are here to project

Silent spectator as mentioned in Upanishad

Unconditioned consciousness remains behind

Two birds in the tree can be seen

Together they give the being

One is Brahman symbolic

Other is 'Karmaphalaholic'
