What 'IS' is Īśvara (Gita 2:19)

Bhgavad Gita 2:19

य एनं वेत्ति हन्तारं यश्चैनं मन्यते हतम् |
उभौ तौ न विजानीतो नायं हन्ति न हन्यते || 19||

ya enaṁ vetti hantāraṁ yaśh chainaṁ manyate hatam
ubhau tau na vijānīto nāyaṁ hanti na hanyate

Death is what we are most afraid of

Death is what brings the most sorrow

Death is the most confused reality we know

Death is mankind's most hated blow

Ātma is never born, so never dies

Ātma has no parts so can't hurt itself

Ātma is confused to be the anātma

Anātma is confused to be Ātma

The question is - What is Īśvara?

The answer is - whatever 'IS' is Īśvara

Understand the only true glow

Continue the life 'As though'

Leave the subjectivity, be more objective

This will sure change your perspective

Accept the prasad, continue to pray

Honor the given role, enact the play
