17. De-identification
The song that Jīvā sings is
'I want' 'I want', 'I want'
The steps that Jīvā dance is
Round, round and round
Jīvā looks at the communities
As a land of multiple opportunities
World looks like Kāmadhenu for ever
Consumption continues forever and ever
Jīvā revolves around the body, mind, sense
Complains within the boundaries of the fence
Jñāni shines everywhere with no boundaries
Lives freely with no scars or memories
Body is identified in three ways
Jīvā holds on to them all the days
Sahaja, Karmaja and Branti
Jñāni knocks two of the latter
Involuntary reactions to stimuli
Is common to all until we die
Jīvā and Jñāni may have this
One may mistake and miss
The identification to family heritage
Jīvā gives a lot of weightage
Jñāni ignores them as outdated
Because the doership is negated
Delusion allows the third one to creep
And this one is really skin deep
This is removed only by knowledge
Jñāni understands and acknowledge
Why me? Changes to Why not me?
Body may undergo pain and pleasure
Why should I bother about it any longer?
This is the best way to conquer
